WC 23 Jan

A busy week with work.  Arranged to meet 2 fellow riders at Richard Dunn car park for a morning ride on Thursday.  It was a fine day but very cold.

We crossed at the Zebra, as we didn’t feel like negotiating the roundabout, and much to our surprise discovered that it was a designated cycle path (on the path) which led us to Staithgate Lane (2 of us had never cycled down before) and onto the Spen Valley Way. We went to the end and headed back, 1 branched off at Low Moor leaving the 2 of us to climb back up Staithgate Lane to Odsal.

A good ride out, short and sweet and very cold -why I left my thick gloves in the car I don’t know! 17 miles and a shame time was limited on this fine day!
